Most commercial buildings across Toronto and the GTA are heated and cooled by a packaged rooftop unit: compressor, coils, fans and a gas heat section in one cabinet on one curb. Large office towers add a commercial chiller and cooling tower plant, and every restaurant kitchen leans on a make-up air unit. A typical Toronto roof sees humid 32C afternoons, minus 20C mornings, freeze-thaw cycles and road dust, and the equipment wears accordingly.
Many units in GTA plazas and parks went in during the 1990s and 2000s and are now at or past their 15-20 year life. That is why GTA property managers are facing replacement decisions across whole portfolios at once, often while juggling several contractors, COI requests and tenants who cannot lose cooling for a day.
We built the company around that reality: Red Seal HVAC-R leads, TSSA G1 + G2 gas techs, ESA electrical and CRE-ticketed chiller techs on one crew, published pricing, and the Save on Energy Retrofit Program paperwork filed before the crane is booked. We are an authorized Lennox, Carrier, York, Trane, Daikin dealer, so OEM parts are on the van.
