3. Quotes
Written quotes are issued within 24 hours of a site assessment and list parts, labour, crane, permits and HST. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, because equipment and refrigerant prices change. Published website prices are ranges for planning and do not replace a written quote.
4. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST unless stated.
- Installations and replacements follow a 25/50/25 schedule: 25% at order, 50% on install day and 25% on commissioning sign-off.
- Repairs are invoiced on completion. Commercial and property management accounts may be approved for Net-30 terms.
- Labour rates are $185/hr in business hours, $280/hr after-hours and $425/hr on weekends unless a contract sets other rates.
5. Rebates and Incentives
Where we file Save on Energy, Enbridge or other incentive applications for you, rebate-net pricing depends on program approval. If a program administrator reduces or declines an incentive, the difference remains payable. We will tell you before ordering equipment whether pre-approval has been received.
6. Scheduling, Access and Cancellation
You are responsible for safe roof and mechanical room access, building approvals and tenant notice unless we agree to handle them in writing. Scheduled visits cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged a call-out fee. Crane days cancelled after permits are issued may incur crane and permit costs.
7. Warranty
Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. Our workmanship warranty terms are stated in writing on each quote. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, power events, lack of maintenance, or work by others on the same equipment.
8. Limitation of Liability
Rooftop Units Toronto Pros carries $5M commercial liability insurance and WSIB coverage. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost business income, spoiled stock or tenant claims arising from equipment failure, except where caused by our negligence.
9. Website Content

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
