Standard 5-10 ton RTU: 3-5 business days from quote to startup. Crane coordination + roof reinforcement adds 2-3 days. Larger 15-25 ton packaged units: 5-10 business days. The clock starts once the written quote is signed and equipment is confirmed in stock. Lennox, Carrier and York 3-10 ton units are usually on a GTA distributor shelf, while 20-25 ton and heat pump RTUs can need a factory order. We book the crane and the City of Toronto street-occupancy permit while the unit ships, so the lift day is set before the equipment lands. Startup includes a commissioning sheet you can file with your capex records.

A dispatched tech on-roof within 2-4 hours in the GTA core. Diagnostic, parts check, and temp-cooling or temp-heating setup if the unit cannot be restored same-day. After-hours rate $280-$425/hr. Restaurant, retail, dental and medical sites get a priority queue. The call is answered by dispatch and routed to a Red Seal tech, not logged as a call-centre ticket. Our vans carry the contactors, capacitors, igniters, flame sensors and fan motors that cause most no-cool and no-heat calls, so many units run again on the first visit.
